Shooting at Marineland
Spent the day shooting at Marineland in St. Augustine FL.
Did a story that involved a grandmother swimming with dolphins, so I had to get wet! I was the audio engineer on this gig!

A day of TeleprompterUsed a TelePrompter today for some non-professional talent to deliver lines to camera! Here is the prompter operator setting up! WebcastingSpent the day webcasting a presentation on diversity. A pretty easy gig but would have like to have another camera! Disney b-rollI spent the last week shooting b-roll for Disney. Was a long week and I am glad that it is over. Only managed to shoot on picture and that was from my parking spot… Sturgeon Jump?
Our task was to tell the story of the “Jumping Sturgeon”. Apparently there are prehistoric fish that can weigh many hundreds of pounds that jump 5-10 feet in the air. These fish are so large and heavy that when they jump infront of a boater there is great possibility of injury and even death. Well, the fish were easy to find, but getting video of them was another story. At times it was as if the water was boiling with jumping fish, but no matter where the camera was pointed they would not jump there. It was very frustrating but in the end we got the story. Jeffery Kofman wrote a great post about it on the ABC News Blog, Fishing for the Shot Here are a few pictures: A Sturgeon Jumping Al Searching for the Shot MercyMe Cover Tune Grab BagToday I shot a quick video of the Christan Rock Band MercyMe in Disney’s Animal Kingdom doing a cover of “Wanna be Like You”. The show was a corperate convention that went very long! Naturalization Ceremony at The Magic KingdomOn July 3rd thousands of immigrants became naturalized citizens in a ceremony performed in front of Cinderella’s Castle. I was hired by Disney to cover the event as an ENG camera operator and the majority of this video was shot by me. Enjoy
